Well, as you might have guessed, when I try the same approach in live trading, it doesn't work so well. If my target is +10 points, for example, and the price moves in my direction 5 points and stalls, sometimes I click the Flatten button and take my profits. I either hit my target, my stop or I hit the Flatten button. I am profitable most days and life is good. I am running Sierra Charts with TransAct and trading the DAX futures index on the Eurex. ![]()
